Join us for an evening of joy & love for our treasured Playhouse.
​The Playhouse in San Anselmo is working hard to survive the COVID-19 shutdown. In December, we asked for your help and you delivered. There were so many performance submissions to our December 12th fundraiser that we have enough for an ACT II. The Playhouse is indeed loved by performers and audience alike.

2021 brings hope that we will be able to reopen. In support of The Playhouse in San Anselmo, performers from across our community will once again present an online, live-streamed fundraiser on Friday evening, January 22nd at 7:00 PM. Act II of this cabaret-style show includes excerpts from musical favorites and an all new cast of characters. Many talented performers will invite you into their homes to sing for you and celebrate The Playhouse.

For more than 50 years, The Playhouse in San Anselmo has served the community as a performing arts center for dance recitals, student performances, local and touring theatrical companies, music concerts and other innovative productions. The Playhouse is a low-cost rental facility. It is our mission to keep rental fees and production costs low. We offer a full-service performing space complete with everything required for a professional theater production. The theatrical companies that fill our stage include: YES Theater, Marin Musical Theatre Company, Stapleton School of the Performing Arts, 23 Elephants, Katia & Co and more. Performances from some of these wonderful companies are part of our show on January 22nd.

How to join the Live-Stream
On January 22nd the Friends of the Playhouse Sing for Support ACT 2! will be broadcast live from this page using YouTube. You do not need an account to watch. We'll also be using Paypal in order to accept donations online. You won't need an account to donate, unless you would prefer to set up monthly donations. For the cost of a cup of coffee a month, you could be helping us in a big way.

There is a large Red Button at the top of this page. At 6pm the red button will become a link to the YouTube page with a countdown to the show.
